Stocks close strong despite Egyptian violence

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at its highest level since June of 2008, closing above 13,000.  The S&P 500 also closed higher, surpassing the 1,300 mark.  ADP reported an increase of 187,000 private sector jobs this morning, which was above economist's expectations, but was not enough to push stocks up from this morning's open.

So far, the Dow is down 20, the S&P 500 is down 6, and the NASDAQ is down 7, although the Dow is still above 12,000 and the S&P 500 is still above 1,300 (although only just).
